In 1997, Flower Shop Network owners Brock and Loranne Atwill had the opportunity to open a flower shop in Paragould, Arkansas. After serving as CFO of Redbook Florist Services for over 13 years, Loranne was eager to pursue the retail side of the floral industry. With Brock’s background in marketing, they enthusiastically opened their flower shop, but soon began to understand what challenges local florists face in the ever-changing market. They saw a lack of effective online resources available to locally-owned florists and realized how order gatherers and others make it difficult for consumers to find real local florists. So, Flower Shop Network was born.
