I have been looking the recap for a few months now. I am a professional florist with nearly 24 years experience and every week I await with baited breath to see the hideous designs you will post. Many are fabulous, many are average, but every week some are hideous. Showing no skill what so ever and making our industry look foolish. Why do you post images that damage the image of our industry?

Thank you for your feedback. The intent of the Friday Recap is not to critique the skill level of any florist. Instead, we choose to provide a place where floral designers of any skill level can share what they feel is inspiring, creative or personal when it comes to flower design.
Hopefully, florists who are new to design or less skilled will take notice of those higher skilled designs and will learn from them thus setting their aspirations higher. And you can certainly help with this by submitting photos of your own highly-skilled designs. We look forward to seeing your work.
