    These people are amazing! I needed a large gift basket delivered the same day for a funeral and they completely came through for me. They even called me to make sure the family had returned home from the service so the basket would not sit on the porch. I haven't had this kind of customer service in a long time and it was really refreshing given the stress of the day and that we could not attend the funeral due to the pandemic.     I have honestly never ordered flowers before, so I didn't realize it should be done days in advance. I put the wrong address because the flowers were for my sister and I didn't want to call her and bug her for the address. They were supposed to be a surprise also. What you think you are getting and what you hope to get are often two different things. Dietz knocked it out of the ball park. The spray of flowers they sent to the funeral home (and later traveled to the church and then on to the grave site) was beautiful, big, and fresh. I was more than impressed.     Previously, when I've ordered from Dietz, the arrangements were a very decent size for the amount of money spent. This last time, the arrangement was VERY small, and I spent the same amount as previously. I was VERY disappointed when I saw the arrangement after it was delivered.     I didn't rate a five because delivery on the date, Valentines Day, didn't occur until after 3 pm. I do understand that over 500 deliveries had to be made that day but the person I had ordered the flowers for had to watch as many other people got flowers early in the morning while she had to wait until mid-afternoon. I don't know what the solution is, I imagine hiring extra drivers and vehicles wouldn't be economically feasable, but I may consider having the flowers delivered the day before in the future. You still have my business!
