    I wanted to send a little “pick me up” arrangement to a family dealing with health problems. ( I live in Pennsylvania) When I saw the “Amber waves” autumn arrangement, it was perfect. The day of delivery was not a pleasant one because the hurricane was moving through, but Emerald gardens went above and beyond to get that delivery made (even though the phone number I provided was out of service so no contact was established before delivery) so I was very pleased when they got the delivery made. I highly recommend this business for all your floral needs.

    After receiving a recommendation, I called Emerald Gardens and requested an arrangement for my niece, who is recovering from surgery at the Children’s Hospital. I requested something ‘for a pink and purple loving little girl who also loves unicorns.’ They created the most cheerful arrangement, delivered the same day, wrapped in purple and ribbons and accented with a stuffed unicorn.     This order of gerbera daisies was delivered on the 9th. I know this because when the driver returned I sent them to buy large 5 gallon buckets from the same store. "I just delivered flowers there" the driver said. We have had the same phone number for 30+ years. Not sure why you couldn't reach us. Lord knows the phones have been ringing off the hook. Please call us with any other concerns.

    I TOTALLY agree. I am contemplating taking the gerbera daisy arrangements OFF the website. For some reason growers/vendors think they are made of Gold these days. The more popular the flower the more they increase the price. Supply and demand. I apologize. We are trying very hard to keep our prices affordable but still profitable enough to keep the doors open for our 22nd year. We certainly appreciate your business and support.     We ordered flowers to be delivered to a hospital. Not sure where they went after the got to the hospital but they did not make it to person they were supposed to go to. Patti made multiple calls to try to locate them but never found them. She resent flowers and had them delivered directly to my mother-in-law's house. Even though this was not her fault, she fixed it and made my mother-in-law very happy. Her efforts are greatly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to use this business again.

    I ordered a custom arrangement for Val. Day. I requested unique, however, the flowers delivered to my partner were unique in a bad way. There was one row of pink, one row of hot pink roses, one row of bright yellow lilies, and one row of purple flowers. Nothing went together. It did not look at look all like a designer arrangement; it looked like something a child would have made. And maybe most bizarrely of all, it was delivered in a matte black square ceramic "vase." A black vase and super bright flowers for V-Day? Very weird.

    I recently used this company when I randomly googled florists close to Duke Hospital. I could not be more pleased with the product, delivery and the speed of service. The child I was sending the arrangement to got released early. I called the company, they tracked delivery and made lily’s day. Even though I picked out a bouquet, stuffed animal and balloon, I asked to add as much purple as possible because it was Lily’s favorite color and the autoimmune Epilepsy awareness ribbon that she battles. This company went above and beyond to meet my needs and I highly recommend them!

    I live in MD and my Aunt, living in Durham, NC, was turning 102 years old. After looking at the bouquet selections online, I called the shop by phone & Patti answered.     Even though Patti was sick the day that I was picking up my order, they were ready and were beautiful. They were exactly what I wanted, the color was perfect, and they smelled awesome.     We apologized for the balloon. I did contact your husband right away with an explanation. The foil mylars do not do well on hot sunny days. When it goes from the A/C building to the extreme heat and then to an A/C vehicle then back in extreme heat and finally to an A/C delivery destination, it looses it's helium. The extreme heat causes the mylars to loose their helium faster and that is out of our control. Again, I apologize.

    I was eventually quite pleased with the service I received. I'd ordered flowers to be delivered May 8 and when they were not delivered, I contacted the florist directly. Here it is, the day of multiple graduations and the day before Mother's Day and I am concerned about my birthday delivery, already a day late. The woman from the shop was kind and helpful. Apparently, there had been a mistake between the on line order and the actual shop. She made the delivery and included an "extra" because of the delay. Thanks to Myers Florist.

    Myers Florist/Emerald Garden is absolutely amazing!I placed an order online for one of their beautiful arrangements, but unfortunately one of the flowers was not available. Patty searched all of Durham for this particular plant, but couldn't find it. She called me and said that she would substitute the plant and promised me an equally beautiful arrangement. When I saw the finished product I was blown away! The arrangement was absolutely divine! It looked as if it should be a center piece at a ritzy dinner. I have definitely found a permanent florist in Patty and Myers Florist!
