We had less than a year to plan everything and if there’s one thing everyone know about LI weddings is that it’s very competitive to find vendors.     This is the second time I ordered flowers from Joy for my soon to be 80 year old Nan who has been around a long time and is difficult to impress. The first time she was blown away with the beauty, quality and elegance. So different than anything she was used to getting. I didn't know how Joy would top the first one, but as soon as the flowers arrived my phone was ringing asking me if I used the same wonderful florist. She could tell by the quality and I think she even called Joy to personally thank her.

    We wanted to surprise my future Mother in Law at work with flowers for her birthday, but after a cancelled order from a local florist (NOT JOY), we were left in a crunch to get her flowers delivered on time.     Upon the first meeting with joy she and I had an instant artistic connection, Joy didn’t make me look though dozens of books or bring in pictures. I told her my inspirations and she immediately started to grab flowers to put together a ruff floral arrangement. Joy not only has fantastic artist capabilities and excellent taste she uses unique and high quality flowers. The colors and textures of my bouquet and centerpieces amazed my guest. My sister in law has a centerpiece on her dining room table 10 days after our wedding. She also did a wonderful job of decorating my cake, which actually came in incorrectly from the bakery, but Joy did such a wonderful job of decorating it I didn’t even care about the incorrect cake by that point. I truly had a wonderful experience working with Joy!

    We got married on Oct. 28 just before Hurricane Sandy hit the area but Joy handled our wedding perfectly – as though the “storm of the century” was not a concern! The flowers were amazing, she decorated the aisle and chuppah beautifully for the ceremony and then transformed the banquet room into an elegant dining setting. Working with Joy was very easy, without me saying much she understood what I was looking for. She also worked well with the other vendors she had to interact with. I could not have been happier and highly recommend her.
